 We’ve tested just about every modeling pre-amp out there and we keep coming back to Digitech’s RP-50. Why? Because it sounds and feels very musical, unlike many of today’s modelers which are quite cold and not very inspirational. The Blackface and Tweed Models are awesome (check out our presets) and the reverb is better than anything we’ve tried. It will run all day on 6 AA Batteries and it’s small enough to fit into a gig bag. Another incredible feature has to be the RP-50's ridiculously low cost.
