How do I get the lowest price, I see 3 different
prices for all of your strings?
A: We have 3 prices for every type of string we sell and that price is
based on quantity. You can mix any combination of Memphis Electric, Portland
and San Diego Acoustic to achieve a volume discount.
Q:
Are Webstrings bulk strings or do they come in sets like
the strings I buy in the store?
A:
Webstrings are packaged in sets just like the strings you buy in the store.
Bulk strings can be a real pain, there is nothing worse than a bag of
strings sitting out getting all tarnished.
Q: Can I mix
bass strings with guitar strings to achieve a volume discount?
A:
Sorry but our order page cannot do this. As a rule you can mix anything with
an identical price.
Q: Do you offer free
shipping to Alaska and Hawaii?
A: As long as you spend
$50.00 or more, shipping is free to any U.S. zip code and this includes
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam etc.
Q: How much are
shipping charges to Canada and Mexico?
A: For shipping to Canada and Mexico an additional $6.00 plus 5% will
be added to your order.
Q: How much are
shipping charges for all other International orders?
Q: How long will it
take for my strings to arrive?
A: We ship your
strings the day they're ordered (providing that day is not Sunday). Orders
of 10 sets or more will be shipped using the U.S. Postal Service's Priority
Mail for a 2 day delivery time. Smaller orders go out as First Class Mail so
depending where you live will determine when they arrive, but they usually
take between 2 and 4 days.
Q: I recently
purchased 6 sets of Portland Mediums and 6 sets of Portland Lights. After
using one set of each I’ve decided that I like the light gauge better, can I
exchange the unused sets of mediums for lights?
A: Yes, simply contact us at
exchanges@webstrings.com and
we will arrange an exchange for you.
Q: I have a custom
built 8 string guitar that I need special strings for. Can I get custom
gauges from Webstrings?
A: Unfortunately we don’t do custom sets. This is
something we may do in the future but not at the present time.
